Welcome to The Vault

The Vault will make the job of buying goods and services easier, quicker, more efficient and more cost-effective for councils in the north west.

Why? Because The Vault is a comprehensive register of all the contracts currently held by the 46 local authorities in the north west.

Using The Vault, purchasing professionals can share information on contracts and identify collaborative contract opportunities.

Designed by the North West Centre of Excellence, in consultation with north west local authorities, The Vault allows councils to:

  • Provide detailed information on contracts, over the value of £50,000, from across the north west, including tender documentation and specifications.
  • Search for contracts across all councils by commodity, ProClass category, contract value, contract end date and key word.
  • Identify those councils with similar contracts to theirs enabling the identification of joint contract opportunities.
  • Export details of contracts by council type and value so that reports can be developed.
